Job summary

Poseidon Aerospace is seeking a Remote Pilot in Command (RPIC) for our next-generation autonomous aircraft. You will own the aircraft from preflight to post-flight and support the test team on the ground to ensure the next flight is ready to go.

This role emphasizes RPIC experience, strong situational awareness, and the discipline to run repeatable test operations safely. Engineering curiosity and stick time are valued as you contribute to ongoing test campaigns.

Qualifications

• RPIC experience on UAS/RPAS platforms in operational or test environments.
• Clear, structured communicator for briefs and debriefs.
• Ability to execute disciplined, repeatable test operations in dynamic field environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as RPIC for Poseidon aircraft during developmental flight testing and demonstrations.
• Lead preflight and postflight briefings with the test team.
• Coordinate flight test plans, SOPs, and operational documentation with engineers.
• Review flight data logs and report anomalies with pilot perspective.
