Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. is seeking a Roof & Wall Estimator in Denver, CO to prepare takeoffs and detailed material lists for bid pricing. You will use in-house pricing software, validate scope, and coordinate with Builders, Sales, and Engineering to ensure accurate estimates and timely output.

The role requires strong math, blueprints interpretation, and proficiency with Excel and takeoff tools. This position includes remote work considerations and typically minimal travel.

Qualifications

• Good mathematical and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines to completion.
• Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal methods.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, customer drawings, and other project specifications.
• Exhibit competency in use of in-house estimating applications, pricing programs and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates from contract drawings, specs, and addendums using in-house pricing software.
• Identify exclusions and discrepancies to obtain scope clarification and qualify quotations.
• Execute adds, deductions, or alternates for special pricing.
• Use current pricing information when preparing estimates.
• Maintain vendor/customer relationships.
• Communicate with Builders, Sales, Customer Service, and Engineering for scope/design clarification.
• Demonstrate commitment to efficient use of company time in a remote work environment.
• Report to Estimating Manager or Team Leader and travel ~2x/year.
