BairesDev, a global software services company, is seeking a Robotics Software Engineer to design and optimize software powering autonomous systems. You will work at the intersection of real-time control and perception to ensure precise, reliable robot operation.

You will build modular software for sensors, actuators, and planners, implement navigation and motion planning, test with Gazebo or Isaac Sim, and collaborate with distributed teams to solve robotics challenges in a fully remote,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on robotics or autonomous systems.
• Proven expertise in developing and optimizing robotic software using C++ and Python.
• Hands-on experience with ROS or ROS2 for navigation, perception, and motion planning.
• Proficiency in using simulation tools such as Gazebo or NVIDIA Isaac Sim for robotic system testing.
• Strong understanding of real-time systems, kinematics, and perception pipelines.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilités

• Create and refine software modules to integrate sensors, actuators, and hardware controllers into a cohesive robotic platform.
• Design and implement navigation and motion planning algorithms to manage complex physical movements.
• Develop real-time perception pipelines to process environmental data and detect obstacles accurately.
