Job summary

Sedgwick is recruiting for a US Telecommuter RN Telephonic Case Manager. The role focuses on coordinating medical services, advocating for injured employees, and facilitating recovery and return to work through telephonic case management.

Ideal candidates have an unrestricted RN license, a compact or multi-state license, 1.5 years of workers’ compensation experience, and are comfortable with remote work in a flexible, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted RN license in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Certification in case management or rehabilitation nursing highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing clinical assessments via telephone to evaluate injury, treatment, psychosocial needs, and support systems.
• Communicate effectively with claims examiner, client, injured worker, attorney, and supervisor.
• Identify issues delaying recovery or return to work and work toward timely medical recovery.
