Impact Recruiting Solutions is seeking an RN Health Care Facility Surveyor to support a Quality Improvement Consulting Company and will work nationwide in a technically exciting environment supporting internal and external customers. The position is 100% remote with up to 75% travel.

The successful candidate must have an RN license, CMS training, SMQT, and 2+ years of surveyor experience in long-term care facilities.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• CMS Long-Term Care Basic Training and SMQT completion is required.
• At least two years of surveyor experience in accrediting facilities serving long-term care residents.
• Current licensure to practice as an RN.
• Ability to travel up to 75% on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site surveys of Medicare-Medicaid certified facilities to determine compliance with Federal regulations.
• Prepare tours, observations, record reviews, and staff interviews to assess care and services.
• Evaluate aspects of the facility system from quality of care to residents’ rights and physical plant.
• Communicate non-compliance issues and work with site staff to ensure understanding of deficiencies.
• Lead or participate in follow-up surveys and training related to corrections.
