Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking RN/Advanced Practice Nurse with NY licensure for the TeleSAFE program in New York. The role is per diem and on-call, delivering remote and in-hospital examinations and support to hospitals 24/7.

You will work 36 hours monthly across two 12-hour weekdays and one 12-hour weekend shift, with on-call coverage including holidays. Applicant must meet SAFE certification requirements and HIPAA standards; bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and active NY RN licensure.
• 3+ years as SAFE Provider with 50+ cases completed.
• DOH NYSAFE certification; IAFN preferred.
• Experience with patients of all ages, pediatric preferred.
• HIPAA compliant and able to maintain a quiet exam environment.
• Comfort with telehealth and remote care delivery.
• Spanish/English bilingual desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical on-call SAFE services to survivors of crime via telehealth or in person as assigned.
• Perform required shifts: minimum two 12-hour weekday and one 12-hour weekend per month.
• Follow policies and national protocols for sexual assault exams.
• Participate in quality improvement and TeleSAFE team activities.
• Maintain contact information for statutory testimony and follow-up for years after contract ends.
• Engage in multidisciplinary training with SPHP and complete onboarding/CE requirements.
• Complete 5 hours of continuing education annually on best practices.
