Job summary

The Arc of Southwest Georgia seeks a Residential Registered Nurse to perform clinical and non-clinical duties, ensuring regulatory compliance for individuals served. The RN will coordinate care, maintain medical records, and support DBHDD policy adherence in a community-based setting.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure and at least three years of clinical experience, including work with individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health needs.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Georgia.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience.
• Experience with individuals with DD and/or MH.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors individual care plans.
• Maintains medical records and communicates health conditions to the team.
• Coordinates care involving multiple disciplines for each individual.
• Provides HRST training and completes required reviews.
• Assists with medication administration as needed.
• Interacts with pharmacies, physicians, and medical supply companies.
• Attends nursing meetings and reports on assigned individuals.
