Job summary

SME Careers is seeking a Risk Management SME for a remote hourly contractor role. You will review AI-generated risk responses, draft expert content, and evaluate reasoning for accuracy, completeness, and governance alignment.

Requires 5+ years in risk management, strong knowledge of COSO/ISO 31000, and excellent written English. Compensation is up to $90/hour and you will join a growing expert network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in risk management (ERM, compliance, internal audit, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of risk taxonomy, inherent vs residual risk, and KRIs/KPIs.
• Familiarity with COSO, ISO 31000, and other risk governance standards.
• Excellent written communication and ability to translate complex risk topics clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI training content on risk topics, prompts, and gold outputs.
• Evaluate AI responses for correctness, clarity, and risk coverage.
• Test model outputs for biases and unsafe recommendations; ensure governance alignment.
