Job summary

EXL Risk Control is seeking self-directed independent contractors to conduct on-site surveys and risk control reporting from home or office, servicing Storm Lake, IA and nearby within ~45 miles. You will schedule surveys, prepare risk control reports, and contribute to underwriting decisions.

Preferred experience includes commercial insurance, real estate, inspection, construction, or loss control. An optional 15-hour online certification is available, with negotiable fees based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial insurance or risk assessment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule on-site surveys and prepare risk control reports for insurance clients.
• Manage assignments, secure local appointments within Storm Lake area and surrounding 45 miles.
• Deliver timely reports to help underwriting decisions and advise on loss-control measures.
• Coordinate with clients to ensure efficient field inspections.
