Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Risk Services Consultant (California Telecommuter) to deliver risk control services for multiple clients. You will develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, communicate findings, and support client retention.

The role offers flexible work arrangements including remote/telecommute in California, with travel within the state and opportunities for career growth within a global leader in risk management.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of risk services experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with public entities, insurance, or risk pooling is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree with major in Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Safety, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• One or more professional certifications preferred: GSP, CSP, ARM, PRC, OHST.

Responsibilities

• Inspects workplaces and work sites to identify and document violations of federal, state or local safety laws.
• Identifies dangers for the company and clients.
• Develops risk mitigation programs including policy, standards, procedures, and training.
• Serves as local liaison to vendors and other parties.
• Communicates loss reports, presentations, analyses and advice.
• Travels as required.
