Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Right of Way Administrator 2 to support statewide real estate activities for PennDOT. The role guides acquisition, relocation, and property management, providing compliance oversight and expert recommendations to district teams.

The position emphasizes leadership, policy guidance, and coordination with staff and other agencies to ensure successful project delivery, while telework options may be available and a standard full-time schedule applies.

Qualifications

• One year as Right-of-Way Administrator 1 or Real Estate Appraiser Supervisor/Real Estate Appraiser 3, or six years of real estate experience with associate degree, or five years with Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
• PA residency requirement
• Ability to perform essential job functions

Responsibilities

• Statewide oversight of acquisition, relocation, property management, and disposition activities to ensure policy compliance
• Provide technical guidance on condemnation, relocation, damages, and land disposition
• Evaluate district submissions for acquisition, relocation, property management, and disposition and recommend final approval
• Determine statewide eligibility for special damages, replacement housing, business relocation costs, and related claims
• Supervise and coordinate technical staff in Acquisition, Relocation and Property Management
• Assist section chiefs in training and coordinating with other agencies and maintaining statewide policy guidance

Education

Associate degree or satisfactory completion of two years of college
