Easy is seeking a Right-of-Way Agent to support multiple phases of acquisition in the Houston area, Texas. The role involves researching ownership, negotiating purchases and leases, and coordinating permits and approvals.

Travel to the field is common, with opportunities to work from a residence as needed. The agent will handle title transfers, zoning matters, and documentation under supervision, ensuring compliance with client policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of five years of experience in the Right of Way industry.
• Excellent working knowledge of applicable laws, rules, regulations, and right-of-way policies.
• Knowledge of settlement instruments, contracts, and property valuation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Research, negotiate and secure purchases/leases of land and right-of-way for construction.
• Identify land ownership interests and determine permits and requirements.
• Oversee land-related legal issues including deeds, titles, and zoning.
• Prepare detailed activity reports and negotiate easements, damages settlements, and permit acquisitions.
• Perform due diligence to ensure accuracy of land rights and identify deficiencies.
