Job summary

FieldCore, part of GE Vernova, seeks a rigging professional to move and install heavy equipment for power generation projects. You will direct hoisting operations, test rigging, and manage gear while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires willingness to travel globally and work extended hours as needed. Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma and basic mechanical experience, with preferred certifications in rigging and material handling.

Qualifications

• Trainee level with trial period to ensure fit.
• Basic skills training for fundamental concepts, practices and procedures.
• High School Diploma and related mechanical experience (carpentry, lifts, cranes, etc.)
• Rigger / Auxiliary Moving & Material Handling Equipment Certifications are highly desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Signal or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety.
• Test rigging to ensure safety and reliability.
• Attach loads to rigging for moving using hand and power tools.
• Control movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces.
• Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use.
• Travel extensively (internationally and domestically).
• Be willing to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required.
