Job summary
Mutual of Omaha Mortgage is seeking an experienced Reverse Mortgage Loan Processor to manage a full pipeline of loan files from application through underwriting and closing. You will ensure regulatory compliance, input data into systems accurately, and coordinate with title vendors and appraisers.
Strong customer service and time management are essential. The position offers a 100% remote work arrangement with competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years in reverse mortgage loan processing
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Effectively manage and process a full pipeline of mortgage loan files
- Evaluate loan files for regulatory compliance and completeness
- Accurately review and input pertinent loan data into operational systems
- Order supplementary vendor products, such as title reports and property appraisals
- Obtain required underwriting conditions from loan officer and/or loan applicant(s)
- Utilize FHA Connection to update loan data as needed
- Communicate pipeline and file status to retail sales channels and management
- Work closely with all operational departments to establish productive and efficient workflows
- Complete required checklists and worksheets
