Icon Health is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist for orthopedic care in a fully remote setting. The role focuses on end-to-end claims, coding oversight, and payer denials management, with emphasis on Medicare/Medicare Advantage compliance and telehealth guidelines.

The candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of leading billing and coding staff, while ensuring accurate reimbursements and regulatory compliance across telehealth and in-person workflows.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in medical billing, health information management, or healthcare administration preferred.
• Completion of a medical billing training program preferred; CPB a major plus.
• Exceptional communication skills to interact with patients, providers, and insurers.
• Unmatched attention to detail to ensure timely and correct claims.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to use multiple digital tools for billing, record keeping and patient care directives.

Responsibilities

• Submit billing and claims submissions within 5 days of the patient date of service and maintain low denial rate.
• Post payments accurately and reconcile EOBs to bank deposits daily.
• Reduce A/R aged >90 days and maintain A/R days under 40.
• Supervise in-house and outsourced billing/coding staff to meet company objectives.
• Stay updated on Medicare and Medicare Advantage regulations for telehealth.
• Track and appeal payer denials to recover revenue and identify trends.
• Audit payer contracts for underpayments and ensure negotiated rates.
• Calculate and collect upfront patient financial responsibility using real-time eligibility tools.
