Job summary

Icon Health is seeking a highly organized Revenue Cycle Specialist for Orthopedic Care to manage multi-state telehealth and remote claims submission, copays, and payment posting. You will ensure accurate reimbursement and compliance with Medicare and Medicare Advantage rules.

In this role you will monitor denials, apply structured denial management, and support auditing of payer contracts and fee schedules. Remote position with competitive hourly pay and opportunities to advance.

Qualifications

• Degree or certificate in medical billing/healthcare administration preferred.
• Completion of a medical billing training program is a plus; CPB certification is beneficial.
• Strong communication and attention to detail are essential for timely, accurate claims.

Responsibilities

• Stay up to date on Medicare and Medicare Advantage payer rules and guidance.
• Track, analyze, and appeal payer claim denials to recover revenue.
• Monitor contract performance and audit underpayments for accurate reimbursements.
• Calculate and collect upfront patient financial responsibility with real-time tools.
• Ensure compliant coding and reimbursement in line with medical records.
