Job summary

Cedars-Sinai in Torrance, CA is seeking a Revenue Cycle Onboarding role focused on provider onboarding for efficient billing and client service. You will ensure accurate CPT/ICD-10 coding, drive onboarding workflows, and collaborate with coding and compliance to optimize revenue cycle performance.

Responsibilities include coordinating onboarding, monitoring AR, preparing client summaries, and supporting payers in reconciling reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on medical billing with full understanding of pro-fee revenue cycle.
• Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding and relevant regulations.
• Healthcare or business-focused degree is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all onboarding activities for providers in the revenue cycle.
• Ensure services billed are accurate with CPT/ICD-10 coding.
• Serve as primary client contact to resolve front-end revenue cycle issues.
• Collaborate with coding/compliance to train providers and provide feedback.
• Partner with management to ensure charge entry and AR resolution quality.
• Prepare monthly activity summaries and progress reports for executives.
• Maintain communications with the Coding Dept to monitor APCs and trends.
• Support client meetings to resolve reimbursement issues with payers.
• Manage personnel, including performance reviews and staffing decisions.
• Oversee staff workload and productivity and adjust as needed.
• Analyze aging, charges, revenue, denials, and trends with leadership.
• Suggest Epic system changes and track KPI trends and action plans.
• Attend meetings to discuss progress and future action steps.
