Job summary

Mutual of America Financial Group is seeking a Participant Retirement Sales Specialist to support the Midwestern region, reporting to the Regional Vice President. The role involves representing Mutual of America in sales and marketing, conducting group and individual meetings on-site at a Regional Office's group client.

Responsibilities include enrollment of participants in new 401k/403b plans, cross-selling products, and expanding relationships with participants while coordinating with regional

Qualifications

• At least two years of sales experience or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience presenting in group settings to varying sizes.
• Individual sales experience and comfort with cold calling.
• Strong business sense, motivation and communication skills.
• Active FINRA Series 6 and 63 or plan to obtain within 180 days.
• Active State Life and Health Insurance License or obtain within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist rollout and enrollment of participants in newly established 401k/403b plans through group and individual meetings.
• Cross-sell individual products during on-site meetings with participants.
• Network and prospect new participants for Mutual of America’s products.
• Increase enrollment, contributions, and transfers from current participants.
• Follow up on direct mail, advertising and website leads to Regional office.
• Act as a financial liaison with participants on product options and investments.
• Collaborate with colleagues to demonstrate Mutual of America’s service model to prospects.
• Coordinate client service matters with local Regional Office staff and home office departments.
