Job summary

Fidelity Investments is seeking a Retirement Planner for the TEMPA team to educate and support workplace retirement plan participants, focusing on retirement readiness and informed decision-making.

You will guide participants through employer-sponsored plans, explain benefits and investment strategies, and collaborate with TEMPA colleagues to address complex needs and strengthen long-term relationships with Fidelity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in investment sales, financial planning, or a related advisory role.
• FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses preferred; Series 7 and 63 required, with ability to obtain Series 65 or 66 within 90 days of hire.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, economic conditions, and industry trends.
• Excellent consultative, influencing, and communication skills with the ability to build trust and drive client engagement.
• Demonstrated initiative and a proactive approach to identifying client needs and opportunities.
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Openness to coaching and adapting to evolving business needs.

Responsibilities

• Educate and support workplace retirement plan participants by increasing awareness of retirement readiness.
• Guide participants through employer-sponsored retirement plans, including benefits, employer matching contributions, and investment strategies.
• Conduct needs-based conversations to identify goals and opportunities for retirement asset consolidation.
• Provide personalized guidance and collaborate with TEMPA team for complex planning needs.
• Help participants assess and improve their retirement readiness and strengthen long-term relationships with Fidelity.
