Job summary

Guidant Financial is seeking a Retirement Plan Operations Specialist to learn the full process of administering and testing 401(k) plans. Through accelerated training you will progress from document review to handling basic plans and year-end reporting.

You will review documents, keep clients updated on progress, prepare the IRS Form 5500 filings, and educate clients on plan administration. This remote role includes flexible work arrangements and growth opportunities within Guidant's ESOP-driven

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of adjacent back-office financial ops
• Experience in benefits administration, money movement, tax prep, or compliance
• Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook

Responsibilities

• Review client documents for completeness and accuracy
• Prepare 401(k) filings including IRS Form 5500
• Educate clients on plan administration
• Reconcile plans and perform 401(k) testing and reporting
• Obtain information and keep clients updated
