In this remote contractor role, you will work on projects aimed at improving prescription accuracy and patient safety through AI technology. The ideal candidate should have over four years of experience in pharmacy, a PharmD degree, and an active pharmacist license in the U.S. Engagement is project-based, with a strong compensation structure.

Job description

Turing is looking for candidates with strong experience in pharmacy operations, medication management, and patient counseling, particularly at the level expected for licensed pharmacists in community or retail pharmacy environments.

Role Overview

• In this role, you will be working on projects to help fine‑tune and evaluate large language models using your pharmaceutical and retail operations expertise.
• No prior AI experience is required.
• These projects will help you explore how AI can be leveraged to improve prescription accuracy, medication safety, inventory management, and patient communication in modern pharmacy workflows.

What Does Day-to-Day Look Like

• Design and solve real‑world pharmacy and retail healthcare scenarios to test AI reasoning.
• Write clear, structured explanations covering prescription verification, dosage counseling, formulary management, and over‑the‑counter medication guidance.
• Evaluate AI responses for accuracy, professionalism, and compliance with patient safety and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with researchers to refine AI understanding of drug classifications, pharmacy operations, and patient care workflows.
