The role offers a full-time schedule, 38 hours per week, with opportunities for cross-training across departments and advancement while supporting the mission to provide skills training and job placement for New Mexicans.

Qualifications

Knowledge of organizational practices, policies and procedures.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to read, write and understand English.
Ability to work extended hours and various work schedules.
Ability to operate a cashier and calculate figures.
Knowledge of visual merchandising and sales promotion.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
Process donations and sort/price incoming items.
Stock shelves and maintain a clean sales floor.
Operate cash register and handle cash/credit payments.
Ensure donations area is secure and report suspicious activity.
Assist in merchandising displays and signage.
Attend staff meetings and participate in cross-training across departments.
Maintain accurate documentation of items processed and donations.
