Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Remote-based Centralized Reservations support specialist. You will assist hotels with group builds, rate setup, and transient needs, while handling commission processing and reports.

The role requires 1+ year of hotel experience, strong data input skills, and solid communication abilities. Flexibility to travel during the workweek may be requested, and a college degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience with hotel background preferred.
• Brand experience with Marriott, Hilton or Opera/Windsurfer reservations preferred.
• Ability to deal with customers with patience and diplomacy.
• Ability to input data accurately using a computer system.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide reservations and revenue management support as assigned.
• Build and monitor group masters, cutoff dates and cancellations; release unused rooms.
• Process and input group/contract rooming lists in the reservations system.
• Read and verify information, input data efficiently in the reservation system.
• Prepare room reports to analyze sources of business across systems.
• Handle transient tasks: rate building, commissions, audits, relocations.
• Communicate clearly to staff, in writing and verbally.
• Maintain attendance as a remote employee and be available.
• Meet quarterly balance sheet score standards as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
