Roboflow is seeking a Research Scientist to originate and drive novel machine learning research directions that shape our research agenda. You will gain unique visibility into real-world computer vision challenges as users rely on Roboflow's tools.

You will publish work at top conferences, collaborate closely with our engineering team to deploy research at scale, and contribute to open source. This role embraces practical impact and rigorous scientific methods.

Qualifications

• Masters/PhD in AI, ML, CV, robotics, or related technical field.
• History of publication at major conferences (CVPR, NeurIPS, ICLR, etc.).
• Deep understanding of ML theory and a track record of turning open problems into research directions.
• Values scientific rigour and reproducibility.
• Writes and communicates clearly to scientific, developer, and stakeholder audiences.

Responsibilities

• Originate and drive novel ML research directions for Roboflow's research agenda.
• Publish work at top conferences and publishable results; collaborate with engineering to deploy research at scale.
• Partner with engineering to translate research into production systems.
