Ladders is seeking a Research Scientist - Personalization to advance ML/AI research for personalization at scale across media experiences. The role will shape the research agenda, develop methods for evaluating personalization systems, and translate findings into product opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in ML/AI or equivalent research experience.
• Peer‑reviewed publications at top conferences.
• Hands-on experience in post‑training and reinforcement learning.
• Experience designing experiments with real-world datasets.
• Passion for understanding user behavior and personalization.
• Curiosity and collaboration across diverse teams.

Responsabilités

• Conduct original ML/AI research focused on foundation models and generative AI.
• Develop methodologies and evaluation frameworks for personalization systems.
• Design and run rigorous experiments to test hypotheses.
• Publish findings and participate in conferences and the scientific community.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate research into product opportunities.
• Help define and evolve a research agenda aligned with personalization strategy.
