Job summary

Johns Hopkins University in the School of Medicine seeks a Research Project Coordinator to manage administrative aspects of a research protocol and coordinate study activities remotely.

You will work with the Principal Investigator to develop operational plans, collect and organize data, oversee budgets, and support study meetings while ensuring adherence to protocols.

Starting Salary Range: $17.65 - $31.05 HRLY ($56,212 targeted; Commensurate w/exp.).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Additional education may substitute for experience and education per the JHU equivalency formula.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all activities of a research study to ensure validity of findings.
• Work with the PI or senior staff to develop operational plans to meet research goals.
• Develop tools and procedures for data collection and study processes.
• Collect and organize data per study requirements, e.g. interviews, questionnaires; conduct background research, lab processing, etc.
• Ensure adherence to protocols and procedures.
• Assist with setup of data collection systems and enter/organize data.
• Oversee record management for the study.
• Oversee budget expenditures for study operations.
• Assist in coordinating study meetings.
• Participate in study meetings and provide updates on protocol implementation and make recommendations.
• Conduct literature searches to provide background information.
• Other duties as assigned.
