George Washington University is seeking a full-time School Research Administrator to support pre-award activities within the Research Support Team for SMHS and SON. The role focuses on proposal development, budget creation, grant writing, and ensuring timely submission through GWU systems.

The position provides administrative direction to research units, liaises with multiple offices, analyzes data for budgets, and maintains documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepares necessary paperwork, obtains signatures, and tracks progress of grant submissions
• Acts as liaison between Principal Investigator, SMHS, SON, OSP, Grants and Contracts Accounting, and sponsor
• Analyzes data and budgets, provides projections for proposal budgets, communicates with PI and stakeholders
• Maintains grant/contract files and spreadsheets
• Supports research efforts and handles related duties as assigned
