Job summary

Fair Fight Action is seeking a Research Fellow to support the Research Department in monitoring legislation, analyzing voting-rights proposals, and producing factual, action-oriented documents. The fellowship is remote with hours that fit academic or personal schedules.

The program provides a monthly stipend of $1,600 for 10–20 hours per week and lasts three to six months. Fellows may earn academic credit where applicable and will work closely with the Deputy Research Director.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monitoring and analyzing legislation and voter-related proposals in Georgia at the state and local level.
• Assist with monitoring and analyzing legislation and voter-related proposals nationally.
• Assist with background documents and ad hoc research projects.
• Support monitoring on key voting rights related meetings and hearings in Georgia.
• Support monitoring news developments related to voting and elections in Georgia and nationwide.
• Other duties as assigned.
