Job summary

ElevenLabs is seeking a Research Engineer to join the research team, focusing on data infrastructure powering frontier AI models. You will own systems that enable high-quality data for training and evaluation.

You will build scalable data pipelines, train data-processing models, and design curation strategies to measurably improve model outcomes, while creating tooling for rapid experimentation.

Qualifications

• Experience building data-intensive systems that support ML training pipelines.
• Strong background in distributed data processing at scale (Kubernetes or custom pipelines).
• Ability to evaluate how data quality, composition and curation affect model outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Build large-scale data pipelines for collecting, processing, filtering and transforming datasets for training.
• Train models used in data processing pipelines, such as classifiers and labeling models.
• Design data curation strategies to improve model performance.
• Create tooling and infrastructure to enable researchers to explore and train on large datasets.
