Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University is seeking a Research Assistant in the Department of International Health at the Bloomberg School of Public Health to support data collection, organization, and management for research studies.

You will run reports, review data with standard tools, assist with data cleaning, and help with literature searches and manuscript preparation. A Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s preferred; remote location is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required.
• Additional education may substitute for experience per the JHU formula.
• Master’s Degree in public health or related field preferred.
• Prior research experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run routine and ad hoc reports.
• Use standard tools to review data.
• Assist with data cleaning to ensure accuracy and prepare tables.
• Lead data collection and data entry.
• May lead tasks and develop processes for study activities.
• May conduct literature searches to support faculty research.
• May design and format papers/publications.
• May assist PIs with summaries of papers for policy briefs.
• Other duties as assigned.
