Job summary

Guardant Health, Inc. is seeking a Reimbursement Specialist II to drive billing processes in a hybrid remote role. You will collaborate with Finance and Client Services to optimize reimbursements, resolve complex outstanding claims, and pursue successful external appeals.

The role requires experience with payer communications, EOBs, and a track record of written appeals. Applicants should be comfortable with HIPAA guidelines and a fast-paced laboratory billing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years recent experience in professional and facility coding, billing, and collections with high volume and/or multiple accounts.
• Experience contacting and following up with insurance carriers on denials, file reconsideration requests, formal appeals and negotiations.
• Experience with Medicare and Medicaid.
• Proficient using a computer, data entry, and above average typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurate data entry of information into computer systems and notating accounts correctly.
• Provide reimbursement assistance to patients with superior customer service.
• Resolve most patient concerns or complaints without escalation.
• Verify and communicate insurance eligibility, billing, collections and payment responsibilities to patients and families.
