Client Overview

Our client is a leading consumer products company with an established reputation, seeking a Remote Regulatory Affairs Specialist (Pet Food) on a part-time contractual basis.

Salary/Hourly Rate

$32/hr - $35/hr

Position Overview

The Remote Regulatory Affairs Specialist (Pet Food) will be responsible for preparing regulatory documentation, reviewing documents, and supporting submissions.

Responsibilities

• Support regulatory review activities, including preparation of documentation and ensuring compliance.
• Develop substantiation documents to support product claims and regulatory submissions.
• Use various software platforms to collect and consolidate packaging data into comprehensive reference documents.
• Create regulatory formulas for filings.

Required Experience and Skills

• 1-3 years of regulatory experience in preparing and submitting documentation.
• Experience in the pet food industry, Regulatory Science, Quality Assurance, Product Development, Laboratory Sciences, or veterinary/animal clinics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset are preferred.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Background in pet food or quality assurance; regulatory or quality roles are highly valued.
• Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and proactive questioning.
• Ability to work independently after initial training, which includes up to two weeks of onboarding support.

Education Requirements
