Job summary

Pomelo Care is expanding its network of Registered Dietitians to deliver virtual nutrition care for midlife and menopausal transitions. You will conduct one-on-one video visits, collaborate with a medical provider and therapist, and guide patients through multi-week programs focused on metabolic health, bone and gut health.

You will operate as a 1099 independent contractor with flexible scheduling. Pomelo handles onboarding, scheduling, and billing, enabling focused clinical care and patient

Qualifications

• National certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) with a license to practice in any US state.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition counseling.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and EMR.
• Strong clinical independence and exceptional communication for multidisciplinary care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for patients navigating midlife and menopausal transitions.
• Collaborate with a multi-specialty care team to ensure a cohesive care plan.
• Partner with patients over a multi-week program to facilitate sustainable lifestyle changes.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, bone and gut health.
