Job summary

AutoEngage, a leading AI communication platform for franchised dealership groups, seeks a Regional Sales Manager for the Midwest/Great Lakes territory (OH, MI, IN, KY). This remote field role demands automotive retail experience, the ability to walk into stores, identify decision-makers, and drive business conversations that lead to closed deals.

You will own the pipeline, run discovery and demos, partner with BDRs and implementation teams, and travel regularly to dealership visits and industry

Qualifications

• Must have automotive sales experience and understand dealership operations.
• Ability to build pipeline, manage a territory, run demos, and close business.
• Willingness to travel overnight and visit dealerships regularly.

Responsibilities

• Own new business development across the Midwest/Great Lakes territory.
• Prospect franchised dealerships and dealer groups through field visits, phone, email, LinkedIn, referrals, events.
• Build relationships with service directors, fixed-ops directors, GMs, dealer principals, and group executives.
• Run discovery conversations and product demos focused on service communication, retention, RO growth, and revenue outcomes.
• Build and manage a territory plan with priority accounts, travel routes, and follow-up strategy.
• Work with BDRs to convert meetings into pipeline and closed business.
• Maintain accurate records in HubSpot (account, opportunity, activity, forecast).
• Represent AutoEngage professionally at dealerships, trade shows, and with leadership.
