Job summary

American Oncology Partners, PA is seeking a Regional Manager, Pharmacy Operations to ensure clinic pharmacies run under AON standards and regulatory guidance. This remote role supports the West and Central regions, with travel to support mergers & acquisitions and ongoing operations.

The ideal candidate has pharmacy supervision/management experience, expertise in sterile compounding, and strong emotional intelligence to lead and build trust across teams.

Qualifications

• Education College degree (AS, AA or Higher) in Business/Health Care Administration; in lieu of degree, 4+ years of experience.
• Minimum of 3 years Pharmacy Operations/Compliance Management.
• Minimum of 5 years in a pharmacy/clinical setting with sterile and hazardous drugs.
• Experience with drug dispensing cabinets (Nucleus, Lynx) and related systems is a plus.
• Experience in Mergers and Acquisitions preferred; regulatory knowledge (USP 797, 800).
• CPhT required; CSPT and advanced certifications preferred; valid driver’s license for travel.
• Strong leadership, problem solving, and ability to work across multi-site teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations oversight and support across clinics.
• Lead Mergers and Acquisitions activities and transition planning.
• Develop and maintain policy/procedure adherence and education for clinical teams.
• Manage pharmacy information systems, dashboards, and scorecards for performance.
• Coordinate inventory management and vendor/supply chain activities.
