Job summary

Article Student Living is hiring a Regional Manager to join our Student Housing team. This role oversees financial control, budget management, physical operations, leasing, and staffing across a portfolio of properties. Travel up to 50% is required, with residency within one hour of a major airport.

You will report to the Regional Vice President of Operations. This is a remote position offering a competitive pay range and annual bonus, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the student housing property management space.
• Knowledge of the student living property management industry and experience with business operations.
• Regional or Area Management experience preferred and preference for experience in both new development lease-ups and current operating properties.
• Excellent project management.
• Skills and ability to manage a remote team.

Responsibilities

• Hire and train the full-time teams, providing leadership and support to ensure all properties are sufficiently staffed.
• Cultivate site team support through coaching, leadership, and developing bottom-up thinking.
• Partner with the Director of Training and Support on site-level onboarding for new employees.
• Ensure that on-site managers keep the team informed and inspired through daily huddle-ups and weekly meetings, implementing goals/incentives, and providing feedback from the student team.
• Achieve the highest possible net operating income throughout the portfolio; implement cost control and revenue and leasing improvement, identify trends and recommend strategies and adjustments.
