Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of healthcare experience in managed care contracting, payer relations, provider reimbursement, healthcare finance, or specialty practice support.
• Experience reviewing, interpreting, negotiating, or supporting managed care contracts, including reimbursement terms, rate structures, and renewal strategy.
• Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement, payer policy, commercial and government payer dynamics, network strategy, and value-based care concepts.

Responsibilities

• Advise specialty provider practices on managed care contracting, payer strategy, and reimbursement performance.
• Review and support renewal of commercial, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and other payer agreements.
• Develop payer-specific strategies for favorable reimbursement and access to therapies.
• Evaluate contract terms, fee schedules, and prior authorization requirements for impact.
• Monitor payer policy changes and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Partner with providers on contract administration, reporting, and implementation planning.
• Prepare payer strategy summaries and negotiation talking points for internal decisions.
• Represent contracting capabilities in customer meetings and regional reviews.
