UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Regional Contract Manager to oversee provider contracting, network development, and performance reporting. This role is remote within the United States, supporting a nationwide network and collaborating across departments to deliver compliant, cost-effective solutions.

You will negotiate contracts, guide network growth, and present to senior leaders, while educating accounts on policies and best practices and maintaining strategic provider relationships.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a network management role handling complex providers.
• Experience with client-facing responsibilities, issue resolution and contract negotiations.
• Experience performing network adequacy analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Understanding of claims processing systems and guidelines.
• Knowledge of network adequacy analytics and prioritization based on data.
• Direct provider contracting experience preferred.
• Experience with large accounts and building new networks preferred.
• Experience with Tableau preferred.
• Knowledge of military protocol preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage performance targets, reporting and financial models for provider contracting.
• Guide development of geographically competitive, stable networks.
• Negotiate provider contracts in line with templates and standards.
• Ensure network composition includes balanced provider types.
• Forecast and plan network growth initiatives.
• Maintain strong relationships with providers and internal partners.
• Research provider footprint and identify gap fillings.
• Host Joint Operating Committee meetings and present to senior leaders.
• Educate accounts on policies, procedures and best practices.
• Collaborate with other departments to support provider relations.
• Develop relationships with key departments to support account management.
• Think outside the box to create innovative solutions for challenges.
• Work independently with strong self-guidance and motivation.
• Monitor and assist accounts with OSHA compliance.
