Job summary

Georgia College & State University seeks a Regional Admissions Counselor, remotely based in the Atlanta metro area, to recruit and admit undergraduates. You will manage the student pipeline from inquiry to enrollment, presenting at events and building relationships with high schools and counselors.

You will use Slate CRM to monitor statuses, produce reports, and coordinate travel while ensuring compliance. Bachelor's degree and driving eligibility are required; 1+ year experience in admissions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must maintain primary, full-time residence within the designated recruitment territory and be eligible for membership in the Greater Atlanta Regional Network (GARN).
• At least one year of related professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent the institution professionally at high school visits, college fairs, community events, and panels.
• Develop, execute, and evaluate a strategic student recruitment plan for the territory.
• Conduct informational presentations for prospective students, parents, and secondary school partners.
• Establish and cultivate relationships with high school counselors and education stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary contact for prospective students and families via phone, email, and in person.
• Review and evaluate student application files to make admissions recommendations.
• Support institutional events hosted by Admissions or New Students Programs.
• Utilize Slate CRM to track statuses and generate reports.
• Coordinate travel plans, ensure policy compliance, and maintain records in Banner and Slate.
