Job summary

House Buyers of America is seeking a Manager of Transaction Management to lead the transaction team from contract through closing in a fully remote environment. You will personally manage a pipeline of deals while coaching Transaction Coordinators and Settlement Processors to maintain accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires strong ownership, assertiveness, and the ability to solve complex transaction problems in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of people management experience in settlement, title, or transaction management.
• 5+ years of real estate transaction experience.
• Proven experience managing high-volume acquisitions and dispositions.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Manage acquisition and disposition transactions from contract through settlement.
• Supervise, train, and performance‑manage Transaction Coordinators/Settlement Processors.
• Establish, track, and manage KPIs for all team members.
• Hire, supervise, train and mentor Transaction Coordinators.
• Develop and update all policies and procedures, including training materials.
• Ensure all policies and procedures are followed and maintained.
• Personally manage a portfolio of transactions and review timelines for accuracy.
• Review contracts, addenda, and HUD/Closing Disclosure statements for accuracy.
• Coordinate with lenders and request loans for new acquisitions.
• Oversee listings: photography and virtual staging; ensure MLS listings are accurate.
• Maintain CRM updates across all transactions.
• Escalate transaction issues to title companies or lenders when needed.
• Solve complex issues like title defects or surveys.
• Coordinate with Sales and Construction teams for smooth handoffs and closings.
