Job summary

National Mortgage Staffing is seeking a Real Estate Mortgage Lending Manager to lead the credit union's real estate lending across first mortgage and home equity. This senior role covers origination, underwriting, processing, closing, post-closing, and secondary market delivery for a remote West Coast-based team.

You will develop processes, ensure compliance, manage vendor relationships, coach staff, and drive growth while maintaining strong credit and member service standards.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of real estate lending experience.
• Deep knowledge of Agency guides and loan delivery.
• Experience with first mortgages and home equity lending.
• Ability to work Pacific Time hours in a remote leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full real estate lending lifecycle from origination through secondary market delivery.
• Lead first mortgage and home equity lending operations.
• Manage Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loan delivery.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and SOPs.
• Coach, mentor, and onboard lending staff.
• Manage third-party vendors and audit responses.
