Job summary

Bagel Brands is seeking a Real Estate Manager to drive the company’s growth by identifying and evaluating new store development opportunities across the Central region. You will partner with Real Estate, Design, Construction, Operations, and Finance to advance the development lifecycle from site analysis to lease execution and openings.

The role requires at least five years in commercial real estate, strong analytical skills, and the ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

Minimum of five years of experience in commercial real estate, development, or related field.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related discipline.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and cloud-based project management systems such as Smartsheet.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and networking skills.

Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate new development opportunities across trade areas with market and demographic analysis.
Review prospective properties, analyze economic and site-specific data, and provide actionable recommendations.
Coordinate across Real Estate, Design, Construction, Operations, and Finance to advance LOIs, leases, and store openings.
Prepare site packages and presentations for Real Estate Committee reviews.
Negotiate LOIs with a focus on deal economics and landlord terms.
Maintain development pipeline reports and dashboards for cross-functional stakeholders.
Build and maintain relationships with landlords, brokers, and developers to stay top-of-mind for opportunities.
