Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Condition Inspector to inspect dealer vehicles across an assigned territory, documenting condition accurately and communicating with clients. Roles span multiple levels with tiered pay and monthly incentives.

The Mobile Inspector team supports sales and inventory accuracy, acting as brand ambassadors while maintaining safety and quality standards. Reimbursement for vehicle use is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimal automotive knowledge is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections in accordance with Manheim inspection standards.
• Locate, start, move, inspect, and return vehicles on dealer lots.
• Document vehicle condition and data accurately in inspection systems.
• Develop knowledge of inspection standards and client expectations.
