Responsibilities

• Wound care from assessment to dressing change, tracking healing across the full admission
• Teach Cultural Awareness technique to families taking a patient home, then have them show you back
• Hold the line on hand hygiene and isolation precautions even when the unit runs hot
• Partner with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
• Calibrate equipment and log quality-control checks every shift, no exceptions
• Mentor junior clinical staff and support onboarding as a junior team member
• Triage incoming patients and prioritize cases by acuity
