Job summary

FLOFORM Countertops is seeking a Commercial Countertop Templater in the Tacoma area. The role involves traveling to commercial sites, taking precise measurements, and creating digital templates used for CNC manufacturing.

The position offers paid training, a home-based field component after training, and opportunities for advancement within a modern, technology-driven trades environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, cabinetry, templating or related field preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and measure to 1/16 inch.
• Strong math, fractions and geometry skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to commercial construction sites around Puget Sound.
• Perform precision digital countertop measurements and field templates.
• Use CAD technology to create 2D layouts for CNC manufacturing.
• Document walls, edges, cutouts, sinks, fixtures and site conditions.
• Coordinate with general contractors and project managers.
