Job summary

Hydraterra Professionals (HtP) in Glenmoore, PA is seeking a motivated Civil CAD Designer to support water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Pennsylvania. You will prepare drawings and sketches from concept through final design, integrating survey, GIS, and utility information, and collaborate with engineers and project managers to communicate progress.

Qualifications

• Experience communicating with engineers, scientists and team members.
• Ability to read and interpret civil prints, mechanical equipment cut sheets, schematics, and municipal specifications.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D including plan and profile drawings, utility layouts, and construction details.
• Experience preparing construction drawings and related documents.

Responsibilities

• Create civil and mechanical drawings for water and wastewater facilities.
• Develop plan, profile, section, and detail sheets.
• Integrate survey, GIS, and utility information into project drawings.
• Read and interpret civil prints, mechanical equipment cut sheets, schematics, and municipal specifications.
• Support the preparation of permit plans and construction documents.
• Coordinate utility layouts with engineers, scientists, and project managers.
• Participate in field investigations and site visits.
• Establish and maintain a current and complete set of electronic drawings files.
