Job summary

Orthodent Laboratory (ODL), part of the Specialty Appliances family, is seeking a skilled 3D Digital Laboratory Technician / Designer to join our orthodontic lab team. You will use CAD/CAM software and digital sculpting tools to design and fabricate orthodontic appliances that impact patients' dentition.

We value at least 1 year of relevant experience, proficiency with Blender, Maya, ZBrush, or equivalent, and a collaborative, detail‑driven approach in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of proven experience in a similar role, preferably orthodontic or dental industry
• Experience using CAD/CAM software for fabrication of orthodontic appliances
• Proficiency with digital sculpting applications such as Blender, MeshMixer, Maya, Cinema 4D, SolidWorks or ZBrush
• Strong problem-solving skills and results-driven mindset
• Understanding of dental anatomy related to orthodontics is preferred

Responsibilities

• Use CAD/CAM software to design and fabricate orthodontic appliances with precision
• Create digital models using sculpting applications for appliance design
• Prepare and manage digitized models for 3D printing and evaluate workflows for efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve technology and processes within ODL
