Job summary

Pomelo Care is a leading virtual medical practice focused on women's and children's health, delivering care across pregnancy, postpartum, pediatrics, menopause, and perimenopause. As an independent contractor RD/RDN, you will conduct telehealth nutrition visits, collaborate with a multi-specialty team, and guide patients through multi-week programs to improve metabolic health and well-being.

Qualifications

• National certification as an RD or RDN with a license to practice in any US state.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition counseling.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and EMR.
• Strong clinical independence and exceptional communication skills with a collaborative mindset for multidisciplinary care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for patients during midlife and menopausal transitions.
• Collaborate within a multi-specialty care team including the patient’s medical provider and therapist to ensure a cohesive care plan.
• Partner with patients over a multi-week program to facilitate sustainable lifestyle changes and improve well-being.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, body composition, bone health, and gut health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold clinical, privacy, and compliance standards for visits conducted through the Pomelo platform.
