Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Rails Developer to lead full-stack engineering, owning the Rails backend and pairing with React or Vue frontends. You will connect server-side logic with interactive UI, ensuring data flow and high-performance delivery.

You’ll work 100% remotely, with competitive USD compensation, flexible hours, and a multicultural global team. 4+ years of Rails experience, PostgreSQL, RSpec, and AWS are ideal.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering with Ruby on Rails.
• Experience building full-stack apps using Rails backends and React frontends.
• Strong PostgreSQL expertise and automated testing with RSpec.
• Hands-on AWS deployment and asynchronous processing experience.
• Solid understanding of TypeScript in modern web frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using Ruby on Rails and React or Vue.
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs to facilitate frontend-backend communication.
• Write clean, maintainable Ruby code and implement automated tests with RSpec.
• Manage data persistence and optimize complex PostgreSQL queries.
