Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Radiation Oncology Medical Director to lead oncology utilization oversight, review data, and guide medical policy implementation. This remote, full-time role supports the Specialty oncology business with clinical, coding, and reimbursement expertise and direct case management when needed.

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. with active U.S. medical license in good standing.
• Board certified in Radiation Oncology by ABMS or AOA.
• 3+ years of radiation oncology experience in patient care or managed care after residency.
• Ability to travel 1-2 times per quarter.

Responsibilities

• Support oncology initiatives across the enterprise.
• Oversee utilization review, predetermination reviews, and review of claim determinations.
• Participate in pre-certification, peer to peer calls, and appeals.
• Provide clinical, coding, and reimbursement expertise.
• Contribute to development and evaluation of clinical programs.
